Magno Bissoli, a long time friend of Niels Neergaard's, made this presentation possible. It was his idea to present the orchestras in São Paulo in Memorial da América Latina, the largest concert hall in São Paulo. He also made all the arrangements to make i possible. The Conservatório de Tatuí agreed, the Danish Music Council sponsored, Rui Carvalho and Dario Sotelo rehearsed and translated, and in the course of two weeks of rehearsals and concerts the recording was done.

On this CD is included two titles performed by Big Band "Prata Da Casa". "Balladen" was originally composed for "New Music Orchestra", a big band which was formed to perform new compositions, for a number of years during the Copenhagen Jazz Festival. Featured soloists are Thiers Camargo on tenor sax and Agnaldo Fransisco on drums. "Blues" has peviously been recorded by the danish swingband "Leonardo Pedersens Jazzkapel". Featured soloist is Gê Tock on guitar.

All the titles performed by Orquestra Sinfônica de Tatuí are included on this CD. "Legesang" (Toytune), "Friends" and "I Familiens Skød" (In the Bosom of the Family) was commisioned by the Danish Radio Concert Orchestra in the early 80’s. "Legesang" and "Friends" are both based on Brazilian rhythms, baião and samba. The performance of these two titles, by Brazilian musicians, was exciting. The musicians accepted the music and "swung" them. "I Familiens Skød" was commisioned by The Danish Radio Concert Orchestra, but the orchestra never performed it, so this is a world premiere.
"Fantasia para Tatuí" was composed for this occasion. The opening is the very old danish melodi "Drømte mig en drøm i nat", which transforms into a folkmusic-like melody and then abruptly goes into a samba style melody. This title is conducted by the orchestra’s conductor Dario Sotelo.
The final title "På Gensyn" (See you again) was orchestrated for Orquestra Sinfônica de Tatuí. A sentimental melody, but also a thank you to the teachers, students, organizers etc. at the Conservatório de Tatuí.
